Marshall Elementary School

Jackson MS

 

This 15,000 sqf addition to Marshall Elementary school is in Jackson, MS.  This slab on grade, block wall with bar joist structure houses 8 classrooms, and teacher work area with individual and gang restrooms.

 

This project consists of 22,000 reinforced blocks, making up the structural walls and 45,000 brick in a stacked and recessed pattern for the building exterior.  The structure contains single hung aluminum windows and hollow metal doors and frames at the exterior with wood doors on the interior.


Biloxi Courthouse Annex

Biloxi MS

 

This 8500 sqf circuit court is located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  The building contains a fully appointed courtroom, holding cells, judges chambers, file storage and administrative offices.

 

The security features in the building range from electronic keyed access and metal detectors to hurricane ratings on all doors and windows.  Correctional style lavatoories and accessories were used in inmate accessible areas. 


Office Building

Philadelphia MS

 

This 2600 sqf project included new electrical, mechanical and plumbing.  A new roof was added and restoration brickwork was revitalized by historical standards utilizing high lime content mortar to stabilize structural walls and foundations. 

 

The face of the building was exposed by removing a layer of cement based stucco and wire lathe.  Windows, doors, awning and paint scheme were all part of the design created by The Tyler Group.


Community Development

Columbus MS

 

This 32 acre project was completed by The Tyler Group.  The area was selectively cleared and older growth timber was left to enhance the overall feel of the community.

 

All infastructure was installed, complete with roads, electricity, gas, water and sewer.
